Golang Job: SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER

Scope of work:

The Senior Backend is a key member of our development teams for designing and developing our application backgrounds. As Senior you will be a reliable tech Hero, “The one the others rely on “. You’ll be helping people to grow technically, solving problems, writing code among your team, and unblocking situations. You will be able to understand all aspects of software development (customer requirements, product design, timeframe, tech-debt) and you will be a guide for teammates.

Your profile:

• You have a Bachelor or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field, and ideally 4+ years of professional experience as an in-house backend developer.
• You are passionate about software development, concurrency mechanisms, and building small, intercommunicating services using REST, gRPC, and RabbitMQ.
• You want to work on a brand-new platform integrating multiple services using technologies such as Golang, Node.js... and you have a solid experience in one of them - or more ;).
• Git is your default version-control system (what else?).
• You have a good team spirit and communicate easily in an international and multicultural environment.
• You are fluent in English.

You get bonus points if you have any of the following:

• Knowledge of inter-process communication using a queue-messaging system (RabbitMQ).
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MinIO.
• Experience with Docker and GitLab CI.
• Experience with one or more of those libraries: TypeScript, Rust, Qt.
• Good understanding of what is functional and reactive programming.
• Experience with agile development.
